"Maintaining a human approach in property management isn’t easy. Ora was built to close the gap between scale and care."

- Brandon, Founder

ABOUT US

Ora is more than a service—it’s a modern operating partner for property owners who want transparency without complexity. Our operations are built for owners who value active communication and flexible support aligned with real operating needs. We work with smaller landlords and associations, providing structured oversight without losing the human element that ownership depends on.

Ora was founded by real estate operators and owners who have worked across brokerage, investment, and property management. That experience shaped a practical approach: disciplined systems, proactive management, and respect for the responsibility of managing someone else’s asset.

At our core, we are compliance specialists—staying continuously ahead of New York City’s current and upcoming regulations as part of that responsibility.

As a firm, we stay intentionally focused. Our structure allows us to remain flexible, responsive, and aligned with ownership—so every property gets the attention it deserves.

Leadership

Brandon Babel, Founder & CEO

Since 2016, Brandon has worked across the financial, operational, and ownership sides of real estate in New York City and nationwide. Born and raised in New York City, he earned a business degree from the University of Tampa before starting his career analyzing real estate investments and later moving into leadership roles managing a 40-person sales team.

At 27, Brandon purchased his first investment property, and over a decade in real estate came to recognize how critical the right management partner is to successful ownership. That perspective shapes how Ora works with owners—staying attentive, proactive, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Benjamin Willig, Strategic Advisor

For more than a decade, Ben has helped New Yorkers navigate the complexities of buying, selling, and leasing real estate. He’s built sales organizations from the ground up and currently oversees sales at one of New York City’s leading residential brokerages.

Ben’s journey in property management began organically—supporting clients beyond the transaction by managing their single-unit rentals. What started as a value-add quickly scaled into managing small multifamily buildings and new development portfolios across the city. As the portfolio grew, so did the need for professionalized systems, tech-driven operations, and a long-term vision rooted in ownership thinking.

With a background in economics, experience in high-level real estate transactions, and firsthand insight as a property investor and board member, Ben brings both strategic discipline and empathy to the table. He understands that effective property management isn’t just about maximizing returns—it’s about protecting assets, preserving tenant relationships, and executing with integrity.
